Chinese exchange Yuanbao to list Stellar Lumens

Digital asset trading platform Yuanbao, one of China’s largest crypto exchanges has announced the listing of Stellar Lumens (XLM) set to begin trading on Thursday, June 8th, 3 PM (UTC+08:00).

At the time of writing, XLM tokens are trading at 0.00001569 BTC (+2.15%) and USD $0.045 (+8.64%) from the past 24 hours.

Stellar is a platform that connects banks, payments systems, and people in moving value. Lumens are the native asset of the Stellar network. Native means that lumens are built into the network. An asset is how the network refers to an item of value that is stored on the ledger.

Last month the Stellar Development Foundation launched Lightyear, a blockchain payment network. The Lightyear service is powered by the Stellar network. Stellar is an open global protocol for payments enabling low cost, high access, and seamless multi-asset transactions.

The last assets listed on Yuanbao before the news today saw the exchange introduce Ethereum tokens listing both ETH and ETC back in May.
